Gracie Mae {11 months}

• At 11 months, Gracie keeps us extremely busy.  She is crawling fast now and cruising along walls and cabinets.  In case of a fire, we would be sure to grab Gracie's blanket.  She has formed quite the attachment to it and it's cute to see her excited squeal as she is reunited with it before a nap.  
• Gracie says "mama", "dada", "mema" (Ema), "more" and "hi".  
• She has learned to wave "bye bye" whenever she wants to leave a room or current situation.  It's quite cute.  
• She loves her baths and tries to pull off her clothes when she sees the bathtub, but she hates the swimming pool.  
• Gracie has a love of eating and especially feeding herself, but she has started to throw her food when she doesn't like what you've offered, she's full or just bored.  That little habit is getting annoying.  I think I stepped on pears 3 times yesterday.
• Our little Gracie is independent and spirited, she is still not a great sleeper, but we are working on that.  
• She enjoys playing with mom and dad's iphones.  Her face lights up when she sees it and we're pretty convinced she thinks its a toy.  It has taught her the usefulness of the finger swipe too!  Today she grabbed our camera and swiped her finger across the screen.  She looked up confused when the picture didn't change.  How silly is that?
• Weighing in OVER 20 lbs, Gracie is wearing size 18 months clothes and even though some are getting a bit small, I refuse to buy bigger yet.

We are excited to celebrate Gracie's FIRST BIRTHDAY at the end of this month.
