Movie Review: Paul Blart - Mall Cop

If you haven't figured it out by now - we LOVE going to movies. And we ABSOLUTELY LOVE when movies come along that we can take our kids to. Taking the #1 spot over the weekend, we were among the many families who saw this film in SOLD OUT theaters. Co-written by star Kevin James himself, the movie defied my expectations. With a name like Paul Blart: Mall Cop, you're totally expecting stupid humor, silly jokes and goofy tumbles. While this movie has all of those things, its surprisingly funny in a laugh out loud kind of way.
Sometimes you wonder if movies like this have all of their funny moments in the trailer, but I can tell you that if you go to see this movie (while predictable at times) it holds plenty of surprising and enjoyable laughs.

I wont give much away, but I will suggest this movie to those who want to take their kids to a funny family movie (unlike Marley and Me - which makes us cry), a clean date night movie or those who enjoy watching Kevin James make a fool of himself. Its a good way to spend an evening with your family.

My grade? B+
