With the passing of our prophet and (as my professor put it today) spiritual leader, I thought I'd be like all the other LDS bloggers out there and add my thoughts. Mine comes from something that Ema said Sunday night when I told her of his passing. I was tucking her into bed and she looked at me very thoughtfully and said, "Mom. I know why he died." I asked her why and she told me "It was because he was so old."
How I loved our prophet. What an example he was of dedication to his beliefs and true virtue to those not only of our faith, but those of many different faiths.
