I realize that I'm a bit of a bike snob. I think everybody is a snob in relation to the things they love, and I think that's okay. I fully support and appreciate all of the things that all of you love and are therefore snobby about. That being said, I found this quote on Robert's blog:
"Remember: Cheap shoes cost more than Wal Mart Bicycles. They have no moving parts and less rubber. So, do you really expect $89 to get you a bicycle?"

Oh my goodness, in so many words, Danny has told me the exact same thing. He is definitely a bike snob and will settle for nothing less than a $500 Trek. Our poor kids however, get POS Walmart. :)
