This year we had THREE Thanksgiving dinners. Our first was at Red Rock Canyon School where Justin works. An annual St. George tradition, the school teams up with Dixie Care & Share and volunteers to provide a FREE Thanksgiving dinner!
It was such a wonderful experience to see the community pull together to provide dinner for many who would otherwise be alone or go without a Thanksgiving Feast.
We had our pick of pie. Justin tried mincemeat for the first time. I think he took one or two bites and went back for pumpkin! The kids both had a piece of Lemon Meringue and LOVED it!
Finally Bracken decided that all he wanted was Lemonade and Lemon Pie - so we said "Why not? It's Thanksgiving!"
Here are the kids that Justin works with at Red Rock! They've become a daily part of his life and see him more each day than WE do!
