More Stay-cation!

Day 4 - July 6, 2009

Monday morning was LAKE DAY! The kids (and Justin) have been bugging me to go to the lake with them, so I decided it was time. We woke up early (by 9am, of course! - it's my vacation, people. How early do you think I'm going to get up?) and made the trek to Sand Hollow Reservoir.

Sand Hollow is beautiful! Blue-green water amongst the red, red rocks is a beautiful sight.

Ema was first! We set up the boom to make it easier to teach her how to ski . . .

. . .but she HATED the way the ski's felt on her feet and was a bit of a grump. She ended up climbing back into the boat (after 15 minutes of trying to convince her she'd get used to it) and made Bracken scared to try. What a bust!

So, guess who ended up on the boom? Yep. Me.

I specifically told them NOT to take ANY pictures of me while I was out there, but did they listen? Of, course not! The kids ended up in the water playing . . .
. . .and Justin joined them minutes later.

My favorite place to enjoy the lake is in the boat - away from all the little fishies. Here's my view:
(those are my mom-in-law's toes) - They were in my view, so that's what you get :)

After the lake, we decided to go SWIMMING!

What?

We were already in our swimming suits and St. George is H-O-T!

Pizza for dinner, a few games and we crashed hard on Day 4 of our Stay-cation!

That is so funny about Ema and skiing. Sounds like something Lindsay would do! Speaking of did I tell you Lindsay skied last time we went to the lake? She loved it! Then Dustin leaves and who knows if she will still be excited to go again when he gets back. Sure hope so
