Day 3 - July 5, 2009
Our third day of staycation was a Sunday so despite our fireworks extravaganza, it was quite uneventful.
Justin and the kids had picked out a bunch of fireworks to be let off. (like the butt shot? he he)
It started with pops . . .
. . . and sparklers.
Then it was time for the big stuff!
We were watching . . .
. . . and waiting . . .
. . . for something awesome to happen, when . . .
THE ZOMBIES had a spark fly and it hit Bracken!
I had just finished explaining to little B the "ins and outs" of fireworking and why we don't get too close. It was like the universe heard my lecture and wanted a mini demonstration to prove the point. Now Brackie has quite a welt from that spark and we will never forget the fireworks display from our staycation when Bracken was hit by the Zombies!
