It's been almost two months since we celebrated my birthday. I used to try and hide my age from my kids hoping I could convince them I was younger than I actually was. This doesn't work now that my kids have proven to be extremely wise. So, I embrace it. On April 29th, I turned 33. That means my mom and dad have been parents for the same amount of time. I feel like birthday's are just as much for our parents since it's their, um . . . acts of love that got us here in the first place!
