We left Eugene on a Saturday morning (the 12th of September) and made the 7 hour drive to Sacramento, CA.

We stayed with my aunt Teresa and Uncle Tim in Sacramento. My uncle has had quite a hard few months. He's had surgery on his heart a few times and my Grandma has been there since July helping my Aunt. (this picture was taken at 6am, people. 6 AM!!!)
We picked her (and her Chihuahua, Ziggy) up and set off Sunday morning for the 10 hour drive home.
It was a L O N G trip, but very worth it when I saw this:
We have since decided that 5 weeks was WAY too long for them to be without their Dad.
